The artist

I am Maximilie, an artist inspired by the ocean, its legends, and its deep connection with humanity.

I offer my charcoal drawings on various water-related media (nautical charts, seawater watercolors, Suminagashi), custom-made to order, original posters, as well as reproductions printed in various formats. I also lead artistic workshops to share my techniques and unleash everyone's creativity.

After a background in graphic design, I branched into teaching to share my artistic calling with young children. But drawing remained a practice I continued in parallel, varying the media and techniques.

Sensitive to nature since childhood, I embraced ocean culture when I arrived in Brest in 2014. Following opportunities for commissions in 2022, I decided to launch myself as an artist, to convey and protect the beauty of our world through my creations and my commitment to the Hope Wave Association. Recently settled in the Basque Country, I will continue to share my ocean and surf culture inspirations with this beautiful region!
