Gallery and portfolio

I am Maximilie Hareng, a painter, illustrator and speaker based in the Basque Country (France).

I draw my inspiration from Nature, particularly Water (the ocean, rivers), Divine Femininity and Movement; these themes are symbols of life, transformation, and healing.

I interpret them through my works by blending nature, immersive activities (dance, yoga, surfing, diving) and spiritual feminine figures.

I draw with charcoal on mediums connected to fluidity; watercolor (combined with natural elements such as sea water, salt crystals and sand), old nautical charts, and Japanese suminagashi marbled papers (floating ink).

My creations are customizable upon request, and available as original posters, and printed editions in different formats.
