The "Ocean Goddess" exhibition is on display until January 7, 2025, at La Maison Blanche restaurant, 2840 route de Sainte-Anne du Portzic, in Brest. Illustrator Maximilie Hareng is inspired by the sea and the ocean. "I draw with charcoal on various supports related to the aquatic world: nautical charts, suminagashis, and watercolors made with seawater. My creations feature ocean goddesses, in homage to the divine feminine and water, the source of life," says the artist. The graphic designer transitioned to teaching to share her passion with young children. Drawing is a practice she continues alongside, varying her supports and techniques.
