This summer, the painter and illustrator Maximilie Hareng and the vacation spot Les Maritimes Seignosse are delighted to collaborate to present "Flow," the artist's new exhibition.
Inspired by nature, especially the ocean and rivers, this exhibition is a true invitation to slow down. In a world where everything is accelerating, Maximilie Hareng invites us to reconnect with life's natural cycle, by letting ourselves be carried by its current.
Through her works, Maximilie explores the symbiosis between water, movement, and sacred femininity. These themes are for her symbols of life, transformation, and healing. She conveys their power and gentleness, through movement activities that deeply connect us to our environment: yoga, dance, surfing, and even diving.
The uniqueness of "Flow" also lies in the dialogue between the line and the medium. Maximilie uses charcoal and pastels on mediums intrinsically linked to the liquid element: Japanese suminagashi marbled papers, watercolor backgrounds made with sea water, or even old marine charts. Each work then becomes a reflection of living and moving matter.
The opening reception will be held on June 17, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, an opportunity to discover the venue and meet the artist in person.
The exhibition will run throughout the 2026 summer season starting June 8, coinciding with the launch of the Mojo-Mojo wellness festival.
An artistic interlude not to be missed to explore inner and outer shores.
