INTERVIEW. In Brest, she draws on nautical charts
With charcoal on old nautical charts, Maximilie Hareng expresses her inspirations. To share this passion in turn, the young woman films her entire creative process before posting it on social media.
In the apartment that serves as her studio, Maximilie Hareng struggles to store the nautical charts. Piled at the foot of a large wooden table, several of them are waiting to be unrolled. "There are some everywhere in the cupboards too," the young woman smiles, pointing to the entrance hallway. Found in flea markets or online, they serve as a medium for the artist.
